The Plough Inn |
The Plough is a small village freehouse, owned and run by the McCarthy family.
The food is locally sourced where possible and offers anything from a T-bone steak to a cheese sandwich. With a sunny garden for summer visits and open fires for winter, you can be sure of a warm friendly welcome in comfortable surroundings.
The Plough is 800 yards from the Llangollen Canal, moor up at Bridge 18, then walk up to the road and turn right. |

| There are few genuinely local friendly pubs left in the UK where you are guaranteed a warm welcome by staff and customers. The Plough is one, good well presented food in a traditional atmosphere where children and dogs are welcome. Long may it continue. |

| Splendid small establishment where everyone is catered for from families, with or without dogs down to those on their own, who will always find someone to talk to. The Sunday lunch is highly recommended, as are all the bar meals and snacks, catering for most visitors requirements. As well as the usual alchoholic refreshment they do good tea and coffee too. |
